Art and Design

At Eastwood, the teaching of Art will allow pupils to develop confidence in using a variety of mediums (e.g. pencil, charcoal, paint, clay) to create artistic works that exhibit their ideas, experiences and imagination; in doing so, they will be able to showcase a wide range of art techniques. It will provide meaningful links to subjects across the curriculum through studying the work of great artists and designers throughout history and in Key Stage Two, through the reviewing and revisiting of our own ideas.
